About CSULB Research Foundation

The California State University, Long Beach Research Foundation, founded in 1956, is a nonprofit [501 (c) (3) IRC], tax-exempt corporation oraganized to administer sponsored programs for reasearch and other activities related to the University's mission. The Foundation also accepts donations, gifts, and bequests for University-related use and provides tax-deductible advantage to the donor. The Foundation is classified as an organization described under the Internal Revenue code, Sec. 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi).

California State University, Long Beach Research Foundation serves the mission of the University by supporting and engaging in research, entrepreneurship, community service, sponsored programs and the acquisition of private resources.
